Tom Alexander

Tom Alexander is an award-winning writer, producer, music composer and broadcaster/podcaster. He is also a nationally recognized jazz recording artist. Tom has contributed theme music and accompaniment to countless radio broadcasts, as well as various TV programs. Prior to founding Alexander Productions, Tom was Head Writer/Musical Director of the nationally syndicated radio show, The Drive which originated from CBS Sports. Some career highlights include a two-year stint as the piano playing sidekick to a wisecracking talking bottle in a popular series of nationally broadcast commercials for Mike’s Hard Lemonade (he co-composed the songs in these memorable ads). He has released multiple albums in genres ranging from jazz, fusion, cinematic and neo-classical. South Florida Sun-Sentinel music critic Nick Tate has described his music as “globe-trotting musical travelogues” adding “from start to finish, Alexander builds his solos and melodies with the deft skill of a storyteller.” Tom’s solo piano album, “What’s Ahead?” was featured on a nation-wide Weekend Edition Sunday interview with Liane Hansen on NPR.
